Adopt A Sister

I will be getting a sister to adopt in a few days. Its through this website for anyone who would like to do it

Basicially you send encouraging notes/ cards etc to a sister who lives in the Hariette Tubman House.

you send little things she might need for herself such as pencils, pens, tolitries, underwear etc.

Just give them encouragement and be a mentor to them. I am looking forward to having a sister to adopt.
That was one of my 100 goals in life. I reccommend you write them down. I met 5 of them I believe.

1. learn a new language
2. make christian penpals from all different cultures
3. write a solider (my friend's sister is one) I'll be getting her address next week
4. Volunteer to be a big sister for someone
5. Start studying about the different cultures.
I still might look at Big Brother/ Big Sister too. Be a big sister to another little girl in my area. I'll do that while my own daughter is in school. They have it where you can eat lunch with them at school or do an activity with them once a week. I will print out the application anyway and start filling it out and see from there. I'm not sure how long it would take to get one. I would like one while Rylee is in school.
