This evening I start Spanish class. I'm looking forward to it. I will have two teachers helping me in spanish. It will be great to learn the everyday dialect the Spanish people use and not the former one that no one uses. I will get my first material printed out tonight so that I can read up on what I am doing. I'll be learning 100 lessons.
Once I see how it goes I may sign up next time for advanced spanish.
prayer request- God will help me learn the spanish language quickly and practice everyday.
He will make it so natural that I'll be able to communicate clearly to the Spanish people and understand what they are saying.
I have some e-mail pals from Mexico and 1 snail mail pal from Mexico. It will be great as I go through and will be able to write in spanish to my new friends Irlanda, Carlos (hes 3 yrs younger than me) a awesome brother in christ.
Luna, Liz and the other ones I wrote. I emailed a bunch and am waiting to her back from them. I am hoping to get some other snail mail pals too. I have a few in the US and 1 snail mail in Mexico. I wrote a few from Russia. I know they will snail mail me. the Russians love to get letters in the mail. I had 5 penpals who I made friends with while there. We wrote for 3 years before we lost touch with each other. This will help me make new friends.
I have a kind friend from Japan who is teaching me about her culture and about the Phillippines.
I am learning the phillippines they eat lots of fish and fish sauce, coconut milk. (i love coconut milk)
I use it in my smoothies. That they are really friendly people. Thats really neat.
Japan is different. They are really quiet and serious workers. Its takes them time to open up and be a friend to you.
They do treat their guests really well though. Ruby is going to tell me more about Japan in my next e-mail.
I did e-mail a few more from Japan as well. I'm hoping to hear from them soon.
